A variety of instruments and techniques will be used to weave a sound tapestry that relaxes the nervous system and stimulates the heart space. Introduction to Gongs, the different types of gongs, the craft of gong making and the history of the gong
Healing with Gongs using basic techniques for Gongs on stands
Healing with Gongs using hand held Gongs
Mallets and how to use them including specialty mallets and friction mallets
Overview of more advanced techniques and applications

These two day workshops are hands on practical workshops that teach the theory and practice of sound healing with gongs. Scientific studies, ancient Shamanic practices and ways of healing will be presented. We will cover playing methods, brain entrainment, trance techniques, working with multiple instruments together as well as how to craft a healing session with gongs. Large gongs on stands and hand held gongs will be used in these workshops. Demonstrations of techniques and break out groups will provide direct experience for the methods presented. No instruments needed as there will be an assortment of instruments available to play.

The session will begin with a Sound Healing using Gongs, Tibetan bowls, handpan, Native American flute, and other traditional sound instruments creating a memorable mystical experience where all the layers of your luminous energy field can be gently and lovingly brought into coherence. The Wolf Moon Sound Meditation is an opportunity to vision and anchor creative possibilities for this new year. Through traveling the waves of sound in to a deep state where the brain waves drop in to the Theta brain wave realm of dreams and healing we can gain insight in to our current condition and awareness of our own direction.
Using Gongs, Himalayan Singing Bowls, Crystal Bowls, Handpan and more I will guide us in to this realm of insight and vision. The journey will be approximately 75 minutes long allowing some silence for integration.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, bolster or anything you may need to help you feel comfortable during the journey. There will be some yoga mats and blankets for use at the event. If so called you may bring some small items such as crystals or ceremonial items that you wish to charge with the energy of the meditation.
